somewhere deep down.

2 more days, 5 more papers till the finale of the exam period.
=)
can't wait for it to end,
can't wait for the holidays.
can't wait for the vacation,
& can't wait for the time that will be spending with them.

exams are exhausting.

you get back from school, clean up, eat..
dilly dally, spend sometime with the family or loved ones..
study till late night,
go to bed for 4 hours or so,
then wake up and study again.
get ready for school, leave for school.
reach school, put my bags down..
take out my books and start having group study with the fellow prefect's
while chatting a bit here and there..until the bell rings.
*bell rings* walks from the discipline room to the add canteen.
get my bags and head to class with the prefect's.
on the way to class, trying hard to memorize facts or formula's or anything,
while talking to them with head's down reading a book and trying to avoid getting knock into a pole or the wall or a human being.
reached class, greet the teacher good morning, get to my place..
plopped down on my chair & spend the remaining 15 minutes wisely.
then, teacher asks us to leave our bags outside.
as I put my book into the bag, I take a last glance at the book,
hoping to remember something important.
drop my bag outside the class by the corridor,
wishing 'all the best' to my fellow classmates,
then goes back into class & get ready for the killer paper. =)
while teacher gives out the paper, revise a few stuff with the friends around me
or just turn behind and reconfirm a few things with the other twin, another genius.
after being ordered to remain silent, we quietly write our name on the paper.
big *aah!* or *sigh* or *NOOOOO!* slips off everybody after going through the paper.
then we start working on the paper.

half way through the paper,
ju and I will look at each other
and say 'die lor' or do the 'cut throat' action.
or everybody will just look around and smile at each other.
some will be sleeping, some will be thinking deeply,
some will be checking through the paper, some will be scratching their head
while some will just stare into space.

if it's a writing paper,
some will get out of the chair & go to teacher's table to get extra papers.
not long later,
teacher's will say 'you have 5 minutes left',
when you realize either you haven't finish your calculations,
your last paragraph,
the shading of the objective answers or your last questions.
then if it's an objective question, you might decide to 'shoot' & simply shade the answer space that looks right to you.
if it's an subjective question, you might just think of some crap that might have a connection with the question and fill it in.
if it's a writing paper, you might just cut your long story short and jump to the ending.
if it's a maths or add maths subjective paper, you might just leave it blank.

after the teacher collects our paper,
we turn around and ask each other the same question,
"how was it?"
or say the same sentences.
" I hate this paper."
"why why why is it so hard?"
" I totally forgot the formula's."
"that part, I died already."
"did you leave anything blank?"

then we run across the class to certain people,
and share our thoughts on the paper.
some will instantly take out the book and confirm their answers.
the rest will head for recess.
do a quick revision over recess,
then go back to class and prepare for the next paper.

after the papers for the day,
we head home & wonder whether we wrote the wrong thing
and dwell or mourn on our mistakes. sigh.
but, we have to move on in life.
what's done has been done.

we get back home
and here we go again...

and this goes on for three weeks.
